We drove in from Gunnison to visit our son and the engine light came on. Stopped at Campus Auto Repair to get a scan. David identified the problem immediately and correctly. Then, given our predicament, he fit us into his schedule for the next day. Not only did he fix the engine issue, he also identified why our air blower wasn’t efficient and repaired that too. Super knowledgeable, friendly, respectful and affordable. A truly great experience under stressful circumstances. I couldn’t recommend Campus Auto Repair any higher.

Staff were friendly and informative. They explained the repairs and work my car needed and gave me the tools to make my own decisions. The repairs were affordable and I’ve been going here for years. My car still runs amazing. Very satisfied with the service!

Everyone at Campus has been incredible to work with. They are kind and honest, but also realistic and informative. They have helped me talk through complicated repairs and make sure I know what it’s going on without ever talking down to me. I know almost every woman knows what a relief that is! They also follow up to check on your repair and send email reminders for deferred work or upcoming maintenance. I’m so grateful to have found them and won’t take my cars anywhere else.

Took my 2012 Jeep Wrangler here for an inspection and oil change. I brought up my concerns with David about the car losing engine power and he understood what I was saying perfectly. After inspection he called me and explained everything there is to know about the vehicle, and what they found in inspection. The inspection included pictures and descriptions of problems. My oil filter housing was leaking and needed to be replaced, as well as my rear brakes and axle seals. They were friendly and open to requests about specific parts to use in the vehicle. I did the repair in two parts, first the oil then rear brakes/axle. I drove about 100 miles between visits so they could check and make sure everything still works. They’ve followed up after both repairs and are always looking out for the customer. I would recommend this auto shop for anyone near campus. The repair comes with a labor and parts warranty too, and the repairs were fast.

They were able to get us in quickly to get work done. They were friendly, knowledgeable and have fair prices with no upsell pressure!

Very fair and reasonable. They are clearly used to working with college students, and I appreciated that as a father to daughters in school at CSU. They diagnosed and did what we needed quickly, and just took care of the issue without upselling or other gimmicks.

CAMPUS auto was professional and courteous in handling my daughters repair, as an out of state parent if a college student in Foco, Campus Auto came highly reccomended, I was only slightly disappointed in paying for 2 diagnostic fees(1.5) for the same issue, but the 2nd time in they got it r I got and the car is repaired

Campus Auto Repair is amazing! My daughter is attending CSU and when she started having car issues I had her take it to Campus Auto Repair. They got the vehicle right away to diagnose. Their communication was great the entire time including pictures and detailed descriptions of the issues they found. Once we decided on what path to take they had everything completed in less than a day. Pricing was fair and they didn\’t try to up sale us on bunch of stuff. They are very honest and transparent. I feel a lot better knowing we have a shop that I can trust and rely on while my daughter is away at college.

I would strongly recommend this business to anybody who needs repairs. They find the issues and get them fixed properly. I\’ve taken three vehicles to them with problems nobody else could seem to fix. Campus Auto found solutions and got them fixed.

Broke down right outside their shop on the weekend, pushed my car in and asked if they could diagnose the problem. They were very kind and got back to me same day with the situation! They wasted no time, gave me what recommendations they could and that was it! Overall I felt well taken care of, explanations on what happened within the engine were thorough and straightforward, will definitely keep Campus in mind for any auto needs from now on!

We’ve had excellent experiences with the team at Campus. Communication is great, receiving the estimates online is helpful, and we trust Matt (service manager) to make reasonable recommendations.

I think we can all agree it is difficult to find a good and honest auto repair shop, this is one of the few. I was told by another shop, near our home, my daughter’s car (a Subaru Legacy) needed new rear actuators (they engage the parking brake). I was quoted $1,200. I sent my daughter back to school and called Campus Auto. Matt had it looked at it and realized one of the rear actuators was disconnected. They repaired the connection, replaced the headlamps (high and low beams) and the total bill was ~$250. These guys are honest, do great work and will be our go-to shop for anything my daughter’s car needs.

The folks at Campus Auto were great! Did what they said, and for price we were told. They’ve earned our trust and would highly recommend them to take of you and your vehicle.

I have entrusted my vehicle to Campus Auto Repair for the 4 years my son has attended school in Fort Collins and have been pleased with their work and honesty. As a mechanic it’s hard to trust someone else to work on my truck, but since I can’t fix it myself I know it’s in good hands.

Had rotors checked to see if they needed replacement. They took my car out for a drive to test them, and put it up to clean them. Found lots of dirt from driving a dirt road but no need to replace like another place said I needed. All was explained to me, and I was treated kindly and respectfully. Would recommend Campus Auto to all my friends.

Would HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone. I have had my share of car troubles throughout the years, and have had a chance to get service from any number of shops around Northern Colorado. My experience with Campus Repair has been one of the few places that didn’t leave me feeling frustrated with the process of getting my car repaired. I had issues with my CVT on my Subaru, which the dealer said would require a full replacement of the transmission to fix. When it finally did start to fail, I brought it into Campus Repair. Not only did they get to inspecting my car a day earlier than they had indicated, but my car was returned to me that same day. They also were able to service the transmission by replacing the valve body, which saved me a TON of money. Not only this, but when my check engine light came back on the day after leaving the shop (completely unrelated issue, just poor timing), they quickly took the car back into their shop, and spent the time to diagnose the new issue, fix it, and triple check the car to make sure there were no other issues. Finally, as someone who is generally wary of mechanics, I ask A LOT of questions. Everyone that I interacted with was patient with me, kind, understanding, and willing to spend the time to make sure I understood the services they were providing, and could move forward with confidence in my vehicle and the work that had been done to it. Overall, while the price tag might match what other shops would provide, my opinion is that you pay fair prices for exceedingly good service and expertise. I will continue to take my vehicles to Campus Repair for service, and will happily recommend anyone else does the same.

I was riding my Harley down College ave, and to my dismay my highway bar had rattled loose. I had no money and was already late for work. I typed into google “mechanic near me” and luckily for me this shop was only a mile up the road. I pulled into the driveway in front of a closed bay door, praying that this place would have somebody cool to help me out. As it turns out, Dave the owner welcomed me in, heard me out, and proceeded to help me out with no promise of money, and with a very welcoming and cheerful demeanor. I don’t need any work done right now but as soon as I do, I will take it to this place 100% just because of the vibe.

Wonderful experience! My daughter’s car started giving us issues the week of college move out. Had it towed to Campus Repair on Monday, by mid-day Tuesday they had updated us and were running diagnostics. Wends they had it figured out, we were able to pick it up by 10 am and hit the road for home. Very nice to work with, professional and great prices.

The first time i came in I had a starter installed in my car which was a lemon out of the box. I called them and they had it towed for free, and replaced the starter at no additional charge. I’m glad they made the effort to make things right! Quality work!

100% recommend this shop! I have a 3rd party warranty that we purchased with our car and they were able to work with the warranty and have the car fixed and good as new in just a couple days. They also had an old Jimmy they were working on, so they do old and new!
